It never loads past the miHoYo logo screen and just stays white. I have no idea how it happened, nor do I know how to fix it-I've already tried a complete uninstall/clean re-install and cleaned out the registry of any lingering traces of it beforehand, and I seem to be the only human being on Earth this has happened to.Įdit : Correction-direct download USED to be the only way I could run the game. The button that says "Get Game" is grayed out, as is the "Repair Game Files" option. I can download the launcher and update it, but the launcher itself does absolutely nothing in actually downloading or running the game (but is all too happy to uninstall it if I've done a direct download install).
I'm not kidding, my launcher has been BROKEN since 1.2. I have never had to do that for any other program in my life, and it baffles me how such a broken launcher hasn't been fixed to run properly yet. In my case, I generally have to completely uninstall the game and do a direct download of the most recent version for every major update to run it and bypass the launcher.
If you're unfortunate like me and have a launcher that is essentially a brain-dead, cyberspace zombie with no functionality after booting it up, then direct downloads are the only way to get the game running. If your launcher works, you have no need for links.
